This term some children from Yr.6 have been enjoying trampolining club. The children learnt to do seat drops, swivel hips, front drops and back drops. They learnt how to combine these movements into routines and some even managed front somersaults. Well done everyone!
Fourteen children from Yr.5 and Yr.6 headed to the Sports Centre this afternoon to play water polo. There were ten teams entered from across the district. On Monday we had two friendly matches against The Primary Academy. Both games were played in good spirits and just finished before the rain came! Over the last few weeks fifteen children from years five and six have taken part in a basketball league. The red team came third in their league and the blue team came fourth in theirs. Everyone played really well and showed improvement throughout the games.
Today we were lucky enough to have Josh Kennedy in to work with Years 4 and 6. He ran a Boxfit session with each of the classes.
