Herald Cup Match 5

Last Thursday we played our last Herald Cup game against Dymchurch Primary School.  It was a great game with good play from both schools.  We won the game 7-3 which puts us in third place in our group.  This means we go through to the quarter finals of the consolation cup.

Football

Yesterday, some of Years 3 and 4 went to a football day at the Three Hills. They were kept very busy playing eleven games during the day with a break for lunch. Mother’s Day Tea

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day by having a tea party, the children met their mums at the door and then once in the hall they served them drinks and cakes. American Football

This week Ted and Mary from Shepway Sports Trust came in to school and ran workshops for all of KS 2 on American football. The children learned and improved their dodging, throwing and catching skills as well as studied some tactics and played mini games. Everyone had a great time and behaved well.  

Platinum Award and Kent School Games Excellence Award Winners

Yr.6 Family Worship

Yr.6 were excellent in their Family Worship, they shared what they had been doing in Literacy and Science last term.  Wowed the younger years with some exciting experiments including firing rockets and indoor fireworks and shared some amazing gymnastics routines.  Well done Yr.6.

Herald Cup

Yr 4 Handball

This morning many of Year 4 attended a handball competition, all our children were playing for the first time and their skills improved immensely.
