Football Tournament

Some of Year 3 and 4 attended a football tournament today. We had two mixed year group teams competing against many teams from other schools. Both teams’ playing improved during the day and they all showed great sportsmanship amongst themselves and with the other teams. There were some super goals along with some brilliant saves. Herald Cup – Match 4: 1-0

Yesterday, we played the final match in the group stages of the Herald Cup.  It was against Saltwood Primary School and was a close match with evenly matched teams.  We won from a penalty kick by Oliver.  This result means we will go through to the quarter finals which will be held after Easter.  Well done Continue reading

Herald Cup Match 3: 4-4

Yesterday was the third Herald cup game for the school team against Churchill.  It was a very tense game with great skill showed by both teams.  With ten minutes to go we were 4-2 down.  The determination and drive of the players shone through as they strived to equalise.  Well done everyone, your perseverance paid off!

Girls’ Football Tournament

On Thursday we entered two teams into the Shepway School Games Girls’ Football Tournament.  It was great fun, the girls played seven matches in a round robin tournament.  Both our teams played really well showing some brilliant skills and sportsmanship.  The blue team didn’t loose a game!The red team won two of their games and drew Continue reading

Infant Agility Year 1

Owls went to an infant agility event today at the Three Hills. We had 3 teams and were joined by other schools from the area, it was lots of fun. Ducklings’ Sports Fun Afternoon

The Ducklings enjoyed their sports afternoon, they learnt new ball, travelling and balancing skills. They worked in three different groups as they rotated around the eight different activities. The children were very well behaved throughout the afternoon.
