Co-Headteachers

Welcome to St Eanswythe’s Church of England School website.  Thank you for choosing to look at our school. We are sure that you will find it useful and informative. St Eanswythe’s School is a happy and caring community situated in the heart of the town right opposite the church of St Mary’s and St Eanswythe’s which is instrumental in supporting the school’s clear Christian ethos.

We value every member of the school and treat children as the individuals they are.  We strive to develop each child’s talents, skills and creativity.  The children are inspired to achieve and develop their independence through an exciting and creative curriculum.   At St Eanswythe’s CE Primary we know that education is not just about academic success but is about developing the whole child.  We give our children the best possible experiences in sport; music, art and include a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Your child’s education is very much a partnership; we value the input that parents can give. We place a strong emphasis on communication between home and school and we encourage parents to be involved as much as possible.

Visits to the school are welcomed. We are very proud of our school and would love you to come and see what is going on, particularly when the children are here. If you would like to come and visit please contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs J O’Callaghan and Miss S Laws
