Sunday St Eanswythe’s Service

Advent Calendars

Each child in the school has been given an advent calendar giving the real meaning of Christmas.  Please enjoy the book day by day as the Christmas story unfolds during this advent period.

Christian Club

Boulogne Trip

Yr.4, 5 and 6 went to Boulogne as part of a joint project with Folkestone Town Council.  The children had an excellent, informative day.  The day started with a tour of Boulogne with tour guides telling us interesting historical facts about the sites and the links Boulogne has with Folkestone.  We then spent some time in the Continue reading

Welcoming Service

On Thursday 25th September we held our Welcoming service at St Mary and St Eanswythe’s church for all the new children in the school including all those in Ducklings.  Parents attended and the new Reception intake sung a song and shared information about themselves with the help of their Yr5 buddy.

St Eanswythe’s Day

St Eanswythe’s day is on 12th September.  We celebrated this with a service in church.  As part of the service Yr.5 acted out a play about St Eanswythe’s life.  We invited children from St Mary’s SE Primary, St Peters CE Primary and Christchurch CE Primary.  After the service we all had donuts and drinks in the Continue reading

Kent School Games Cultural Celebration

We were the only Primary School in Shepway to be awarded the Kent School Games Area Award for Shepway by our local School Games Organisers.
