Cathedral Day – School Friends Service

Year 6 attended a Friends service at Canterbury Cathedral on Tuesday 23rd September.  Children from our school were invited along with many other schools in the area to attend a service celebrating friendship.  Lucy and Olivier read the parable of the Good Samaritan as part of the service.

The children also got the opportunity to see how the organ works and to make friendship bracelets and write prayers in Chapter House.  This was an excellent time for children from several schools to consider the theme of friendship and the impact God can have in our everyday lives.
