Wheelchair Basketball

On Tuesday 28th April Year 5 went to the Folkestone Academy to take part in a Wheelchair Basketball competition. In the morning the children competed in a number of skills based activities running in a carousel. Whilst in the afternoon there was a tournament between all of the teams.

The amount of improvement throughout the day was vast and the children certainly enjoyed themselves. There were some outstanding performances from a number of children with Millie’s shooting abilities particularly standing out.

After all of the games we came a rather impressive 5th, 4th, 2nd and 1st! Well done to all of the children for their play, sportsmanship and behaviour.
