Cube Investigation

We have been learning about shapes in Owls and we use the analogy of a spider, Spike, so we can picture all the different directions she can travel along a particular shape. We have been looking at 1D, 2D and 3D shapes. During one lesson this week we got challenged to use the 3D shape of 3 cubes and build a structure on a flat surface which had the most faces visible.

Some of us got REALLY clever as we were able to add up 1/2 faces too!
