Kent Finals: Tag Rugby

After wining the Shepway Sports Trust Elite Tag Rugby League and coming Runners up in the Shepway School Games Tag Rugby League we qualified to take part in the Kent School Games. This took part today at Aylesford Rugby club.

Each school was assigned a country and asked to represent this country in a parade before the matches began. We were assigned Japan and dressed up for the occasion.

The Rugby was played in excellent spirit and to a very high level on an extremely hot day. We represented both the school and Shepway really well. We progressed from our original group in third place after some very close games and went on to take part in the Bowl Competition, finally losing in the Semi-Final to Sutton Valance. This placed us a very respectable 17th out of not only the 28 teams there today but 17th in the whole of Kent. An amazing achievement!
