Federation Sports Fortnight – Yr.5

Yesterday marked the start of our Federation Sports Fortnight. During this period every class will be able to compete in a range of athletic events alongside children from their year group in Christchurch and St Mary’s. Some will also be participating in swimming galas within the fortnight.

Yesterday was the turn of yr.5. The weather meant plans had to change but thanks to the flexibility of Christchurch we were able to move the competition for 150 Yr.5’s indoors. All the children behaved well and enjoyed the range of activities on offer. Our Yr.6 children ably led a team of children, explained events and kept a record of the scores. Their help was much appreciated.
