Yr.6 Federation Sport

It was Yr.6’s turn to participate in Federation sports this afternoon.  We walked up to St Mary’s, stopping to have lunch at the park on the way.  The children then helped to demonstrate and explain the events to their team as well as taking part themselves.  They were in mixed teams, named after countries, with other Yr.6’s from St Mary’s and Christchurch.   Some of the children met  new friends that they will see at their secondary schools.

Germany were the overall winners with Brazil coming a close second.
