Yr.5/6 Tennis Tournament

This afternoon we took three teams of four children from Yr.5 & 6 to the Shepway Tennis Competition.  Each team was split into two pairs.  These pairs then played all the other teams in doubles matches.  All our children played very well and improved as the games went on.  Some matches were very closely fought whilst others had larger margins.  There were six teams in the tournament in total.  Here are the final standings;

1st Ihab, Olivier, Iden & Maddie

2nd Oscar, Isaac, Vinny & Jess

4th Jacob, Olaf, Kristian and Ellie

Ihab and Olivier not only got a Gold medal but also a special mention for excellent sportsmanship. Well done boys this is just as important as playing to win.
