St Eanswythe’s yr.2 Tennis Tournament

Eight children from Yr.2 were supposed to be playing in the Shepway Tennis Tournament this afternoon.  However, due to the weather the tournament was cancelled.  To ensure these children didn’t miss out we held our own tournament here at school.  The children were split into two leagues and played in a round robin format.  they then went through to the play off stage including finals and semi-finals.  Everybody played five matches with some very close rounds.

Here are the final standings;

1st Ifaz

2nd Euan

3rd Max

4th Amina

5th Tiliscia

6th Ilyes

7th Taylor

8th Joseph

Well done everyone! I am sure you will have many more chances to represent the school in KS2! a big thanks also goes to the Yr.6 children who helped by being umpires for the games. you all did really well. Thank you Iden, Sophie, Ruby and Keayahana.
