Yr5/6 Workshops in Lacrosse and Football

This afternoon Yr5 & 6 headed to Radnor Park for two workshops led by Joe from Maidstone Lacrosse and Football led by two coaches from Arsenal Soccer Schools. We were very lucky as the forecast rain held off. The sessions were both full of fun and the children’s skills improved throughout the afternoon. The children were in mixed class groups and completed both activities during the afternoon. they looked at passing, dribbling and shooting in football. Within lacrosse, they learnt how to scoop the ball, pass and travel with it in their sticks. All children behaved well and enjoyed the sessions.
