Colchester Zoo – Yr.3
On Thursday Year 3 went with Year 6 to Colchester Zoo. It was a great experience, we saw so many of the creatures that we had been studying in our Rainforest Topic. We learnt about how the zoo rescued animals and all about the brilliant conservation work they do. As well as all this we got to go on a train and walk with lemurs, feed the elephants and giraffes and the anteater was adorable! The tiger was frightening to watch as he devoured his food and we all agreed that being able to watch the sealions swim upside down was amazing! Although the coach trip was quite long every body behaved brilliantly and we all felt that it was really worth it!
