Buddies Coastal Park Trip

Today Year R and 5 went to the Coastal Park, this was an end of year trip to celebrate a whole year of being buddies. The buddy experience is one that is so important to both the Reception Class children and the Year Five children. It is an experience that they all love, none more so than when we get to go out and have fun together.

We tried to brave the elements early in the day, but soon ran back to school for shelter. This did not deter our efforts and we still made it to the Coastal Park a bit later for a couple of hours. On the way back we stopped on the Leas so the Year Fives could play some games in small groups with their buddies. They had spent time organising and planning these activities and they appeared to be a great success.
