This Tuesday, the weather held out and Year 2, 3 and 4 teamed together to go on an end of term trip to the Coastal Park. The children behaved beautifully, had fun mixing with different children and engaged in all sorts of fun and games!

We have taken part in the Shepway Sports Trust cricket League over the last three weeks. This has involved playing six other teams on a variety of pitches at Hythe, Saltwood and Folkestone cricket clubs. Both our teams played well, showing some good fielding and batting skills. Each term every child has taken part in intra school competitions in a variety of different sporting skills. These have included running, javelin, speed bounce, basketball and chest push. The PTFA put on a disco for Yr.6 leavers this evening. Great fun was had by all, highlights were the chocolate fountain, popcorn maker, cocktails and photo booth. A big thank you to all those parents who put hard work into making this a lovely event for the children.
Four children from Yr.6 competed in the Harvey Grammar school maths challenge this afternoon. This involved several mathematical challenges against other schools.
