Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – Yr.6

Today, during RE Yr.6 looked at the Jewish Festival Yom Kippur.  This festival follows  ten days after Rosh Hashanah. Swimming with Olympic Swimmer – Chris Cook!

Twenty six children from Yr.4 – Yr.6 were lucky enough to have a swimming session with Olympic swimmer and Commonwealth Gold medal holder, Chris Cook.  The children were very excited to be selected for this amazing opportunity and they weren’t disappointed.  Chris worked with them both in and out of the water refining their strokes, Continue reading

Eagles’ Workshops with Chris Cook

Eagles were lucky enough to have two workshops with Chris Cook. He taught us some excellent new games and then got us to think about what sorts of things make someone successful. We came up with plans and wrote all our ideas down and Chris’s said that we were all really amazing!!
