Pond Investigation

As part of our topic on gardens Eagles thought about how ponds fit into a garden. We thought about what sort of water is in them and how they are different from lakes and the sea. We talked about what sorts of living things that you expect to find in a pond and then we went to investigate our own pond on the Bayle. Not only did we see newts but we saw at least three different types of pond plants as well.
