Groovy Greeks Trip
Year 6 went to see the Horrible Histories production of ‘Groovy Greeks’ at the Marlowe today. It was great fun with some amazing special effects. Zeus set four characters challenges which taught us about Greek theatre, gods, olympics, city states, battles and myths.
During the interval we were even given 3D glasses to use during the rest of the performance.
We then had just enough time after eating lunch to visit the Beaney Museum. Here we saw some interesting artefacts from many historical periods, stuffed creatures, beetle and butterfly collections and some excellent artwork. We were also fortunate enough to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition, there were some amazing photographs. We all had our favourites!
