Owls’ trip to Sunny Sands

This afternoon we took a walk down to Folkestone harbour and Sunny Sands as an end to our topic about the sea.

First we took a moment to admire the boats in the harbour and had a go at drawing some of them by noticing their shapes.

Then, following yesterday’s science lesson, we were looking for any signs of life. Although we didn’t see any sea creatures we saw birds, dogs and lots of insects. We also saw plants and we even found some seaweed in a water filled rock-pool with bubbles around it!
