Our Victorian Day!

We were Victorians today! All in costume for the day , we looked fantastic and it helped us really get into character for our day in a Victorian School. We practised Victorian style handwriting which we all agreed was prettier but much harder to do than our modern writing. Then we did some sewing, inspired by the Victorian Sampler that was made in our school over 100 years ago. Our maths was all about old fashioned money – what on earth are farthings and ha’pennies? Finally, we ended our day with our wonderful Family Worship production of ‘Oliver – with a Twist!’

Thank you to the friends and family who came to watch our Family Worship – and we are sorry if you can’t get ‘Food Glorious Food’ out of your head for a while!
