Year 5’s African Drumming morning

Year 5 have had a wonderfully musical start to the new term with a workshop led by Lucky Moyo. Lucky has worked as a professional singer, dancer and choreographer for more than 20 years. And is one of the core and founder members of Black Umfolosi, and internationally acclaimed Zimbabwean song and dance group. Year five will be working with Lucky every Monday this term to learn how to play African Drumming music – and may even get the chance to perform to the public! It was a very fun session and we are looking forward to developing this exciting (and noisy!) new skill.
