Djembe Drumming – Yr.6

Yr.6 are very fortunate this term as they have the opportunity to participate in a series of Djembe drumming workshops led by a professional drummer from Zimbabwe.  The children really enjoyed their first session yesterday and have learnt that a huge array of different sounds can be made by hitting the drum with different parts of their hands and in different places on the drum.  We are looking forward to the next few weeks!
