KS1 Sports Event

35 Children from years 1 and 2 went to Folkestone Sports Centre this evening after school to try out some new sports. The children travelled around 3 different events and were coached by specialists from the Sports Centre. One area had a bouncy castle and equipment such as scooters and see saws to test our balance. In another area we were taught archery, with some of us successfully hitting the targets! The final area was a sports wall, lit with lights to test reactions and co-ordination.
