12 days of Christmas

In our literacy lesson this morning we looked at the carol “12 days of Christmas.” We saw how most lines ended with a verb and then worked in groups to re-write a new version. Each line had to be about something that reminded us of Christmas followed by a verb – many of us had similar ideas . Finally, we pooled all of our ideas and re-wrote and sang our own version. 11 children cheering

10 reindeer singing

9 penguins swimming

8 turkeys cooking

7 bells ringing

6 elves skating

5 ladies decorating

4 trees falling

3 snowflakes floating
