Creature Homes Drama

We had our first visit as Owls from Ian at KIC Theatre today. He ran a drama session for us based around our new topic “Creature Homes”.

We had fantastic fun as we explored using our bodies and faces to experience how some animals might live.

We started as wiggly worms tunnelling through the earth (some if us wiggled so fast our photos were too blurry!) Then we were moles struggling with our eyesight whilst digging with our claws. We were rabbits hopping and twitching our way to our warrens and then bears waking up and roaring our way out of our caves. We grew feathers and wings to fly around collecting twigs to make our nests and then became an ant colony working and travelling together. Finally we had a go at sleeping upside down just like a bat!
