Plant Parts

In Science today we labelled the different parts of a plant and compared and contrasted lots of different leaves. We took a close look at our broad beans that we had planted in just  wet kitchen paper and plastic bags. Finally we played a game, a little like pass the parcel, where we got to eat all of the different parts of the plant we had labelled:

Flower – cauliflower

Leaves – lettuce

Stem – celery

Roots – carrot
