Creating Fire

In yesterday’s English lesson the Eagles attempted to create fire. First we watched video clips about how stone aged man used twigs or stones to light a fire. Then, we had to do try and create a spark from the friction which is caused when you rub two sticks together or strike flint stones against each other. We managed to make a burning smell that actually smelt a bit like gun powder. It was great fun and then we wrote instructions all about how to make fire.
