The Great Fire of London
We have been learning all about the Great Fire of 1666. We know that it started in Pudding Lane and spread across the city of London. We have recreated this whole scene in our art lessons. We drew Tudor houses on white card using charcoal and then we worked to create a huge collage background to put it all on. Rachel and Dinah created the old St Paul’s Cathedral, Harry and Liam made boats, Harrison and Samuel made some people trying to escape the fire and Jessie and Lilly did an amazing job of creating the river Thames. We all worked as a team and the result is amazing!
