Bikeability awards with Bike Trial Demonstration

The twenty three children in Yr.6 who passed their level 2 bikeability course were rewarded with certificates and badges this morning in a special assembly. James Sheridan, a 4 times British bike trial champion and 2 times European bike trial champion came in to present the certificates. He also wowed the school with a demonstration of his sport including jumping to and from the stage, jumping from PE equipment and doing a high jump from a stand still. As you can see from the videos the children were enthralled by it. James talked about his success being down to determination and belief and discussed how important it is for the children to have these traits in order to achieve their goals. He also presented certificates to the basketball finalists from yesterday.
