Yr. 3/4 Football

On Friday we entered three Yr.3/4 teams into the Shepway Mini Football Competition. All our children played really well and exhibited good sportsmanship and exemplary behaviour as always. We came 3rd, 5th and 6th in our group. Well done everyone!

Tudor knot gardens

This week we made our own miniature Tudor knot gardens. We designed symmetrical patterns then cut them out of sponges before sprinkling over water and cress seeds. We predicted how long the seeds will take to grow and will water and monitor them daily!  

Tudor explorer diet

On Thursday Class 3 were lucky enough to have a visit from Helen from academy fm. She taught us all about the types of food eaten by sailors during Tudor times.  We learnt how they preserved food and then salted some cubes of beef. Trampolining Club

Today was the second session for 8 children at trampolining club. We travelled to Folkestone sports centre and recapped on some of their newly learnt skills from last week and then added some more.
