On Friday we entered three Yr.3/4 teams into the Shepway Mini Football Competition. All our children played really well and exhibited good sportsmanship and exemplary behaviour as always. We came 3rd, 5th and 6th in our group. Well done everyone!

In Year 4 we have had many great projects about the last 90 years. The ideas and creativity is fantastic and the effort that has gone into doing them is amazing.
This week we made our own miniature Tudor knot gardens. We designed symmetrical patterns then cut them out of sponges before sprinkling over water and cress seeds. We predicted how long the seeds will take to grow and will water and monitor them daily!
On Thursday Class 3 were lucky enough to have a visit from Helen from academy fm. She taught us all about the types of food eaten by sailors during Tudor times. Our topic this term is Space and we want to share with you some of the really cool thing that we have been doing. We have made Rockets, created planets, talked about music, built spaceships, explored how to get into space in a cardboard box and lots more! It is so exciting!
