This afternoon Year 4 went out along The Leas to watch the Red Arrows as we are thinking about ‘flying’ as our topic. While we were waiting we looked at other things that fly. We saw a helicopter down on the seafront, seagulls, pigeons, flies and a bumble bee. We also started to think about whether a flag does fly. On The Leas the children enjoyed being interviewed by a local news reporter and having their photos taken. Then the disappointing news came that the Red Arrows were not able to come and show us their flying skills.
