Art Club visits theTate Britain

On Friday Art Club went to visit the Tate Britain. We went by train and then walked to the Tate. We were so lucky that the weather was so amazing, we walked along the Thames past the London Eye, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Lambeth Palace.

The gallery was really cool! We looked at art through the ages, most people preferred modern art to other types. Then on the way back we stopped and played in Westminster Park before meeting the train to go back to Folkestone. It was a lovely day which all the adult helpers enjoyed as much as the children. Thank you to everyone who gave up their own time to help out.
