St Eanswythe’s Beach Day

As part of a project on the North Downs the whole school went to the beach the Leas and the Coastal Park. We looked at our own environment, collected shells, sea glass, driftwood, plants and leaves to use in our art during Monday’s Creative Day. Whilst we were on the beach we built sculptures out of sand and pebbles, drew pictures in the sand and even found a dead fish. On the Leas we did bark rubbing and did some beautiful sketches on postcards. To round our day off we all got to go on the Leas Lift which was really amazing. The day was so warm and sunny and everyone really enjoyed themselves especially the adults!!!
