Creative Day

After a successful day at the beach we used all the things that we had found to create lots of different art. We were lucky enough to have Shane Record in, he worked with Mrs Gurney to help the children to produce amazing beach collages. Hope and Accer’s Mum came in and helped the children to create prints made from leaves, shells, drift wood and pebbles. In  Year 6 they produced some amazing scenery washes and in Years 5 and 6 they created fish and jelly fish. Seagulls were made from paper plates in Year 3 and in Year 2 beach scenes were created using wax crayons and lots of magazines. It was a brilliant day and we all learnt new skills and made some beautiful objects!
