Eagles go to Wildwood

As part of our work on animals and their habitats Eagles visited Wildwood. First we were given a talk all about bears! We learnt that there are eight different types of bears and that they are incredibly skilled animals. Ask any Eagle as they will be able to tell you where bears live, what they eat and what they do to survive and if you are lucky they will show you the bear ears that they made. After this we went to find all of the other animals in the woods! We saw adders, owls, bees, herons, wild cats, wolves, rats, badgers including some really cute baby badgers and a cute small cat that followed us around for a bit! Then we ate our sandwiches surrounded by lots of different types of chickens! Last but most fun was the play park where we went inside a fort with slides, played on swings and even went on a zip wire! We had a brilliant day and would like to thank all three of the parent helpers who came with us…they were amazing!
