We entered a team in the Sports centre swimming gala today. Everyone swam really well, they showed determination and skill. We finished in second place and the children got some lovely silver medals. Well done everyone, you made as proud as always.

This morning six year 4 girls took part in a football festival at the Three Hills Sports Centre. It was 4-a-side and they played 8 games of 8 minutes. As part of our “Up on the Downs” project art club have been making their environment as they see it in but in boxes. They are brilliantly creative and look really good. Amazingly, every box is unique and shows a completely different view of our environment.

On Friday Art Club went to visit the Tate Britain. We went by train and then walked to the Tate. This morning Damian Collins, our local MP, visited our school. He was shown around and was impressed by the behaviour of our children. Year five and six asked him some questions showing an excellent knowledge of our country and the issues that it faces.
