Autumn leaves words- YEAR4

The falling leaves
Drift by the window
The autumn leaves
All red and gold
I see your lips
The summer kisses
The sunburned hands
I used to hold.
Since you went away
The days grow long…
And soon I’ll hear
Old winter songs
But I miss you most of all
My darling, when autumn leaves start to fall…
C’est une chanson
Qui nous ressemble
Toi qui m’aimais
Et je t’aimais
Nous vivions tous les deux ensemble
Toi qui m’aimais
Moi qui t’aimais
Mais la vie sépare
Ceux qui s’aiment
Tout doucement
Sans faire de bruit
Et la mer efface sur le sable
Les pas des amants désunis.
Since you went away
The days grow long…
And soon I’ll hear
Old winter songs
But I miss you most of all
My darling, when autumn leaves start to fall…

There may may be a few odd pronounciations on the recording, we can sort these out on Friday!!!!

DUCKLINGS and YEAR 5

God who made the earth,

The air, the sky the sea,

Who gave the light it’s birth

Careth for me

God who made the grass

The flow’ the fruit t, the tree

The day and night to pass

Careth for me

God who made the Sun

the Moon, the stars is He

who when life’s clouds come on

Careth for me

EAGLES

God whose farm is all creation

Take the gratitude we give

Take the finest of our harvest

crops we grow that men may live

Take our ploughing, seeding, reaping

Hopes and fears of sun and rain

All our thinking, planning waiting

Ripened in this fruit and grain

OWLS

Look for signs that summer’s done

winter’s drawing near

Watch the changing colours come

Turning of the year

See the flowers final blaze

in the morning’s misty haze

Sing a thankful song of praise

Autumn time is here

See the fields are bare and brown

Feel the nights turn cold

Lamps are early lit in town

Hunter’s moon shines gold

thankyou God for rest and food

For the harvest safely stored

Sing a song to praise the Lord

As the year grows old

YEAR 3

All creatures of our God and King, Lift up your voice and with us sing

Allelujah, allelujah

You burning son with golden beam, you silver moon with softer gleam

O praise him, o praise him, allelujah, allelujah, allelujah!!!

You rushing winds that are so strong, you clouds that sail in heav’n along

o praise him, allelujah

You rising morn in praise rejoice, you lights of evening find a voice

O praise him, o praise him, allelujah, allelujah, allelujah

You flowing water pure and clear make music for your Lord to hear

Allelujah, allelujah

You fire so masterful and bright who gives to man both warmth and light

O praise him, o praise him, allelujah, allelujah, allelujah!

let all things their creator bless and worship him in humbleness

o praise him, allelujah

praise, praise the father, praise the son. And praise the spirit three in one

O praise him, o praise him, allelujah, allelujah, allelujah!
