Young Voices O2 Arena

On Friday children from the KS2 choir were lucky enough to have the opportunity to perform as part of the Young Voices choir in the O2 Arena. The songs the children sang were  Five Guys Named Moe, Birdhouse In Your Soul, Over The Hills, Maliswe, Sing!, Stronger Together, For Those About To Rock Again, Lost For A Day, You’re The Voice and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.

Some of these songs the choir sang with other guest performers. Natalie Williams who is one of the UK’s most endearing and popular soul/jazz artists.

The Beatbox Collective which is made up of a cast of the UK’s top beatbox talent, it is absolutely incredible the sounds and music they can create with just their mouths!

Tabby O’Callaghan who is a guitar slinging performer who first burst on to TV screens when he was chosen by rock legend Sharon Osborne to be her protege on the X-Factor, he is known for his riffalicous guitar playing and high energy performances.

During the evening the singing, music, dancing and coloured lights were amazing and the effect of the children’s mini torches was incredible. It was a very long day for the children and yet they were all brilliantly behaved throughout and had a wonderful time.

A big thank you to Renata for teaching our choir to sing so delightfully.
