This morning Yr.6 looked at burning different materials in a candle flame. They used stamp sized pieces of material and realised that although the materials reacted differently, (some melted, some shrivelled quickly, some produced smoke) they were all chemical reactions and were irreversible as new materials had been made.
Year six started the day with a squash workshop led by a coach from Hythe Squash Club, we had great fun and learnt basic rallying techniques using a pop up wall.
