Burning Materials

This morning Yr.6 looked at burning different materials in a candle flame.  They used stamp sized pieces of material and realised that although the materials reacted differently, (some melted, some shrivelled quickly, some produced smoke) they were all chemical reactions and were irreversible as new materials had been made.

Gymnastics in Eagles

As part of our PE lessons this term we are doing gymnastics. They revisited the year 1 and 2 key steps programme that we all learnt last year and then they all worked on their own floor routines as a duo. They performed them to each other today and did brilliantly.
