Canada Day

Today just over half the Year 4 children went to a memorial service for Canadian soldiers that lost their lives during the Great War. Our school were particularly remembering soldiers from the province of British Columbia. KIC Theatre

Ian from Kic Theatre has been in school over the last couple of days running drama workshops with the classes. The children really enjoy his workshops and are always keen to participate.

KS2 Sports Extravaganza

KS2 headed to The Three Hills today to participate in eight outdoor and adventurous activities.  Each class was split into two groups and circulated round the activities taking part in climbing, laser tag, two obstacles courses, a bouncy castle, human table football, a bungee run and crazy golf.  The activities required team work, determination and a Continue reading

Eagles at the Kent Finals, Medway Park

Today 10 children from Eagles represented the whole of Shepway at the Infant Agility Kent Finals in Medway Park, Gillingham. Olympic Roadshow

Today all the children in years 3 and 4 had the opportunity to do four different sports during an Olympic roadshow. Four visiting coaches taught us skills for basketball, football, hockey and netball. Everyone spent twenty minutes doing each activity whilst having a great time.

Kingswood Family Worship

Russian Students

We have had Russian students visiting our school.  This morning two of the students in yr.6 gave the class a presentation about the similarities and differences between life in England and life in Russia.  It was really interesting and the students’ English was astounding!    

FESI sports for Eagles

Yesterday morning Eagles were joined by Christchurch and St Mary’s year twos in a sports competition testing running, balancing, jumping and throwing.
