Yr.6 have been learning about series and parallel circuits and their uses. Today they used their knowledge of parallel circuits to build a working set of traffic lights and used Beebots to test them out. Most groups were successful but we can’t promise that no Beebots jumped a red light!
Yesterday twenty children from years five and six entered a cross country competition at Dymchurch Primary School. They had to pace themselves over a 1600m distance. This morning once again we welcomed Dave Barker from the Cheriton Baptist Church into our Worship. He told us the Bible story about Bartimaeus, who was a blind man who persevered with his quest to meet Jesus and was healed by him.
This afternoon Eagles headed to the churchyard for an Autumn treasure hunt. They worked in pairs to collect eleven different items that show us it is now Autumn. Today every class was treated to a Tiempo Dance session. It is based on salsa dancing and uses a lot of actions, twists and balance. It was great fun and used up lots of energy!
