The children made the most of the snow today by making snow angels as they came into school. The results were pretty impressive considering the amount of snow we had!

The Ducklings have been busy finding one more and solving simple maths problems.
Today in RE we made advent calendars ready for the count down to Christmas. The children had to work together in groups of three or four to create their group calendar sharing the workload evenly, as well as deciding the best way of tackling the task.
Today’s buddy worship was based on the story of the Good Samaritan. Miss Laws reminded all the children of the story which accompanies our school value of compassion, the children were then asked to get into small groups and re-enact the story together. After a busy week practising for our Family Worship the day arrived. All the children enthusiastically did their best to convey some of the learning that has taken place in Class 5 this term. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!

This afternoon the whole school had a great time watching a pantomime about Peter Pan. The cast from M+M Theatrical Productions performed the show for the children with great enthusiasm using comedy, music and dancing to entertain. The children I spoke to following the performance were all eager to tell me about their favourite parts.
This morning some of our violinists, clarinet players and guitarists shared what they have been learning in their music lessons.
