Goodbye After Twenty Seven Years

Today we are saying farewell to Mrs Langley, she has been a part of our school family for twenty seven years in various roles. Most recently, she has been our Reading Recovery teacher, which involves intensive reading work with many early emerging readers. Mrs Langley also arranges all the volunteer readers that help in our classes to make such a difference with reading. As a thank you, the school presented her with a beautiful Shane Record painting of the inside of the Church. The whole school wishes Mrs Langley well for the future, which we hope will involve her returning often as a volunteer to support with reading.

During Worship we lit the advent wreath for the last time and then finished off with a fun Christmas sing song which the children really enjoyed.
