Sacconi- String Quartet

At the end of last term, KS2 were fortunate enough to have workshop from Sacconi.  They looked at the instruments in the quartet and how each one was played.  They also listened to several pieces of classical music and discussed what images the music put into their minds.  Some children even got the chance to become conductors for the quartet and controlled who was playing or the volume at any given time.  It was great fun and everyone learnt a lot.
