Fizzy Drinks and Mentos

To round of their work on reversible and irreversible reactions Yr.6 tested a variety of different fizzy drinks to see which ones caused the biggest reaction when mixed with mentos!  They used a device to ensure the mentos were all dropped in at the same time.  Some of the drinks spurted higher than the children!

Yr.3 & 4 Football Friendly

Yr.6 Family Worship

Trampolining Club

Chris Cook – Olympic Swimmer

We had an excellent day with Chris Cook today. Chris swam for Great Britain in the Olympics, World Championships, European Championships and competed for England in the Commonwealth games.  He won two gold medals in the Commonwealth Games for 50m and 100m breaststroke. Young Voices O2

Today the school choir went to the O2 to participate in the singing event Young Voices. They sang a variety of amazing songs and medleys with actions and dancing. KidZania

We had a fantastic day at KidZania, we learnt about lots of different occupations. The children were surgeons, doctors, firemen, policemen,vets, pilots, air hostesses, shop keepers, dancers and more. We learnt how to make chocolate bars, smoothies and healthy wraps. The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout the trip and great ambassadors for the school, Continue reading
