Today members of Year 4 gave up some of their day to attend a service at Shorncliffe Camp, we went to remember young men that served in the Canadian Forces during WWI. Music Performance Afternoon

Shepway Rounders Tournament

On Wednesday twenty nine children from Yr5 and Yr6 entered the Shepway Rounders Tournament.  Everyone played well and we saw some excellent fielding and batting skills.  One team qualified for the final and ended up winning silver medals!  Well done everyone.

Owls’ Infant Games

Today we went to The Three Hills to take part in a special event for Key stage 1. We got to try out 11 different activities! Swimming Gala

Yesterday, some of Yr.5 and Yr.6 went to the Shepway Swimming Gala, everyone swam really well.  Our two teams were placed  1st and 6th.  Well done everyone, we have some fantastic swimmers.

Golf Kent Finals

Great result today when we represented Shepway in Golf. Our team from Year 4 competed in ten various golf skill activities against thirteen other teams from across the whole of Kent. The points we scored gained us the very respectable place of 6th in Kent. Well done to all the players.  

Representing Shepway in Netball

Today we took a team of eight to the University of Kent to compete in a netball tournament. We came up against tough competition but our children worked hard and played fairly. Today we were very lucky to have a special visit from boxer Josh Kennedy. Josh taught us how to stand and where to place our hands when ready to box. Kearsney Abbey

Yr.6 went to Kearsney to sail their Viking Ships today. The weather was perfect for this activity. Each team had a chance in a knockout race with another boat. One by one the boats were eliminated.
