Yr.6 are studying Ancient Greece this term, as part of their Literacy work they have written and performed plays based on ‘Theseus and the Minotaur.’ The plays used a chorus as the narrator in the same manner that plays in Ancient Greece did. There were some very creative performances. Well done Yr.6.
On Thursday the whole school took part in a mile walk from school along the Leas to the Metropole Hotel. Thank you for your generosity which is this term’s school value. Cycling Club enjoyed the sunny weather on Thursday they managed to ride all the way to Seabrook and still have time for an ice cream stop on the way back!
We had our first sporting competition of the year today. Ten children from Yr.6 headed to Folkestone Cricket Ground to play other schools in ‘kwik cricket’ games. All the schools played well, the weather was perfect and everyone had fun. Our team came third overall earning themselves a bronze medal! Well done everyone.

Year 4 made working electrical circuits in their design and technology lesson. They worked in pairs to discover how to make a circuit and they had the extra challenge of including a switch to control the light.
