Yesterday Yr.6 did an investigation about air resistance.  They used 10g weights to attach to a variety of different parachutes and timed how long each one took to fall to the ground.  Each group decided which variable they wanted to change, some chose the material, some the shape and some the size of parachute.  Following Continue reading

Worship Leaders

The theme of this week’s worship was our value of the term, compassion.  Our worship leaders downloaded an excellent video retelling of the story of the Good Samaritan.  They then used effective questioning to draw out the meaning of the story and to apply it to our lives.  

Value of the Term

Mr Brinkley looked at the story of the Good Samaritan, using the rival football teams Arsenal and Chelsea.  The children considered who they expected to help and who was the good neighbour.  They then considered who they wanted to be like in the story.
