Folkestone Book Festival

This week all of KS2 were fortunate enough to attend Folkestone Book festival at the Quarterhouse twice! On Tuesday they listened to the author Gillian McClure.  Gillian used her book Selkie as the inspiration and then created a story using ideas and comments from the audience.  We then heard her original version. On Wednesday Piers Torday talked about his life and books using a mix of story, sound and visual cues.  Several of us now want to read his books!
